Texas-style BBQ is more than just a way of cooking, it’s an attitude
toward dining that’s built around the traditions of big tables, family-style meals, sharing food with friends, and patiently slow-cooking meats over wood smoke.
Rosie’s BBQ & Smokehouse is the fulfillment of a long-held dream of Chef Karl Gregg, who’s deep-seated love for Texas BBQ has been built on numerous trips to explore the iconic BBQ joints of Central Texas. Combining traditional recipes with custom-cut locally farmed meats, Rosie’s is raising the bar for local fans of slow-cooked BBQ.
The Rosie’s BBQ & Smokehouse menu specializes in family-style meals to take away and share in the backyard, on the beach, or at the park. Alongside traditional mains like tender brisket, ribs, and sausages.
Rosie’s will serve up a wide range of classic sides and desserts, made from scratch and will also show off the Latin influences which are so much a part of life in Texas.
This winter, Rosie’s BBQ will be bringing our famous smoked local meats and housemade sides to the Riley Park Farmers Market on select dates.
We’re proud to work with local suppliers like 63 Acres for our BC grass fed beef and Johnston’s for our locally raised pork and are excited showcase it at our neighbourhood farmers market! We have also partnered up with the folks at Wreck Peach to create our own hot sauces which will be for sale at our farmers market days. We’ll have the full range of sauces on hand to take home and add some zip to your home cooking.
